ABOUT US
The youngest of the family, Café Compagnon welcomes the life of its neighbourhood. Carefully presented, a blend of fine materials skilfully chosen by Gesa Hansen and studio Vincent Eschalier to stand the test of time – red Alicante marble, solid oak, terrazzo, Pierre Frey fabrics – makes up the space. A large open-plan room opening onto the street, a secluded boudoir room, a long tapas bar, a sunny terrace: the spaces and their atmospheres suit everyone’s mood, from morning until midnight.
Here, anything can happen, with or without a booking. Drink, eat, share. The best produce, at the best moment and in every form.
Our produce is chosen and also prepared with care: the chocolate is made on site, the coffee is roasted in the heart of the restaurant and some of the wines come from our estate in Beaujolais.
Craftsmanship as a guarantee of quality.

COFFEE ROASTING
Our coffee is roasted in the heart of the restaurant.
We work exclusively with single-origin coffees grown at altitude in cooperatives or by farmers who respect the terroir and the environment.
The unique opportunity we have to roast our own coffees, whose extraction we control in our restaurants (le Richer, le 52 faubourg Saint-Denis and Café Compagnon), ensures that we can offer coffee just as we like it.
